We understand it is frustrating and annoying being disconnected to our game servers. Connections can be affected by a combination of things.
- playing through a proxy server or VPN,
- slow internet connection speeds,
- inconsistent internet connection. Gaming over wi-fi will cause inconsistencies in internet connection; it is better using a wired connection.
- volume of network traffic at certain times of day i.e. congestion. If network congestion is high at our game servers e.g. high number of players waiting to join battles, the number of battles going on and the number of players in battles will increase traffic to our servers and will 'bottleneck'. As a result the server will drop a connection and disconnect.
- other software or programs running at the same time on your computer (using up free memory).
- located far enough away from our servers (London). The longer you are away, the longer it will take for information to be sent to and from your PC.
Check all your hardware and software is running on the latest versions too.
